Bo Rangers have continued their spending spree following the signing of Former East End Lions defender, Mohamed G. Kamara (Fabregas). Kamara is joining the Rangers from his original club Lion Pride. He is the seventh player to be unveiled so far this season.
The Rangers had a difficult campaign last season which saw them finish 11th and sack two coaches in the course of the season. However, the team had a brief surge in the later stages of the league to secure the 11th spot. Prior to that, they had spent the entire first half of the season at the bottom of the table.
This season they have done major reinforcement all around the pitch. They signed Gibrilla Kamara (Osu) from FC Kallon, Osman Sesay from Central Parade, Saidu Bah Kamara from East End Tigers, Joseph Kamara (Kaka) from East End Tigers.
Their marquee signings include the prolific forward, Suffian Kalokoh who spent the season on loan to Old Edwardians. His blistering pace was a major asset to Edwards last season. Rangers also signed Prince Barry whose career was on track before stalling after he joined Egyptian Club, Arab Contractors.
Along with the coup they have launched in the market the team has appointed Junior Konneh as coach on permanent basis.
Bo Rangers is the only team from the Southern region that plays in the Sierra Leone Premier League.
