Bo Rangers, and East End Lions, got eliminated in the preliminary stage of the CAF club champions and confederation cup, respectively over the weekend.

Bo Rangers still have a chance and EE Lions should show belief

By Alpha Abu

After a disappointing 1-1 score line at the Southern Arena last Saturday, Bo Rangers could still make it through the CAF club champions preliminary stage, if they put up a similar pulsating performance but with more calmness in front of goal, when they face their opponents San Pedro away in the return leg in the Ivory Coast, on Sunday 25th August.

If only had they converted a couple of their chances they would have headed to face San Pedro looking better placed mathematically to get to the next stage of the competition.

By Alpha Abu

Thousands of supporters of Bo Rangers Football Club were in a celebratory mood inside the ultra-modern Southern Arena in Bo on Sunday evening well before the kick-off  in the match between their club and Lamboi FC.

They were justified in their action as it was a mere formality to bring the curtains down in a successful league campaign-they had already won the trophy.
