Mustapha Bundu, a product of the Craig Bellamy Foundation in Freetown is reported to have performed brilliantly at the Hart Pury College in Bristol, by scoring a hat trick against the defending champion, Bristol Rovers in the Englen school tournament.
According to reports, the 16 year old has been called up to represent the England U-18 College team in their ongoing tour of Europe.
In other development two CBF boys Rodney Michael and Denise Cole now at the Dunn school in USA, recently won an award as the best students for their performance in academic work.
According to CBF league manager Mohamed Sow, despite losing some coaches, the foundation remains on course to fulfil its mission. He said, "the boys are all in good shape getting all their normal services, we are currently in the final preparation for approval of three boys who will leave the shores of Freetown for Cambodia as our first batch to play professional football with a former CBF coach."
He added that the school at Tombo, in the Freetown peninsula was still in lockdown until the Ebola outbreak is properly contained.
