Diamond Stars, back-to-back champions in the Sierra Leone Premier league, who recently crashed out of the FA Cup, faced another defeat, this time a 2-1 loss to FC Johansen in the league.
Coach Derrick Boison described the defeat as ‘’unfortunate’’, claiming they deserved a fairer result which would have been reflective of what he said was a ‘’good performance” by his boys.
"We will bounce back as the league progresses, for the league has just started and we have more games to play.” Head coach of FC Johansen, John Keister pointed out that they have played two matches with four points and was satisfied with their performances so far.
