The Leocem FA cup has reached the final stage with East End Lions from the Western Area to clash with Kamboi Eagles of the Eastern Province for the 20 million leone cash prize. To reach the final, EE Lions defeated Bo Rangers 4 -2 on post- game penalties after a goalless draw at the end of 90 minutes.
For their part, Kamboi Eagles eliminated Edmound Michael Foundation also on post - game penalties after 1-1 draw at the Kenema town field.
Christian Cole, head coach of EE Lions expressed delight that his team has reached the FA Cup final for the very first time recently. Cole said "I must praise my players for their tremendous performance in the entire Competitions because their effort has started yielding the dividend for the club".
Kamboi Eagles coach Mohamed Lamin Turay said his "present squad has proved to be the best in recent times and they are poised to win the FA Cup for the second time in the club's history".
