The newly elected Vice President of the National Paralympics Committee Zainab Koroma has promised to improve the status of Paralympians in Sierra Leone describing them as her executive's priority.
She said "they have chosen this career so we must make them feel that disability is not inability. We are starting now to reach out to possible sponsors to help the association financially."
Ms. Koroma told Politico that "I thought it wise to come to NPC because I always feel some concern for people with disability and this is one way I can give my own little contribution to support those in sport."
She promised that her executive will be proactive in executing their duties and "we will try to do our best to bring the association to the limelight even though the task ahead is difficult but with hard work and commitment we will achieve our desired objectives in NPC."
