The Chairman of the stakeholder group of football administrators and managers Alhaji Unisa Alim Sesay has told Politico that all his members will regularize their status with the SLFA according to the organisation's constitution, before the congress in April
He assured that the question of regularizing their status will not divide them anymore because they were ready to attend the congress with a unified force to change the face of football in the country.
Sesay said his members were "putting all mechanisms in place to see that they all fulfil their obligation, so that there will be no room for excuse, we will pay our subscription fees and the regions whose executive members whose terms of office have not expired will still remain in office for the congress."
He said "no delegates will be manufactured this time...we will ensure that only qualified delegates attend the congress."
After two meeting with president Ernest Bai Koroma recently, rival SLFA parties agreed to hold their annual congress on April 16th and 17th. The venue has still not been announced.
