Crime & the fear of crime in our backyards

By Isaac Massaquoi

In this column last week, I raised a number of issues and asked questions about the extent to which ordinary Sierra Leoneans feel safe as they go about fending for their families and even within their homes when they retire for the evening.

Sierra Leone’s roads of death

By Isaac Massaquoi

So should or shouldn't Sierra Leone send troops to the war-torn country? Following are two articles arguing for and against the deployment. Further down you will read an argument by Tanu Jalloh in favour of the troop deployment. But first Isaac Massaquoi argues on why sending our troops there is ill-advised.
