Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Floyd Mayweather are some of the greatest boxers the world has ever seen. But their individual fame, stardom and glory are nothing compared to Muhammad Ali’s; put it simple, Ali is the greatest of all times.

Foreman himself said: “He said it better than anyone else: ‘ I am the greatest!’ The man was the greatest. Forget about boxing, he was one of the greatest men to get in to a ring.”

At the end Kelvin Lewis emerged winner of the weekend’s much anticipated Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) presidential race.

The process leading to the elections day on Saturday June 4 had indeed been bruising on the image of the association. The campaigns occasionally assumed an ugly shape and most of the people I had time to talk to had issues mostly with how the supporters’ of Stanley Bangura, Kelvin’s only challenger, carried themselves.

Sierra Leonean journalist, Umaru FOFANA, who is also of Free Media Group, publishers of Politico newspaper, was invited to be the Guest Speaker at the 25 anniversary of the Sierra Leone Ireland Partnership (SLIP), a group made up of Sierra Leoneans and Irish nationals who have served in various parts of Sierra Leone as missionaries, teachers and health workers. SLIP was founded at the height of the rebel war when Irish priests started returning home as the rebel war spread and as some missionaries got killed by them.

Mohamed Jaward Nyallay caught up with Kasho and they discussed a number of issues around his candidacy in the contest that’s scheduled for this week in the southern city of Bo.
