Member of Parliament for constituency 110, Chernor Maju Bah, over the weekend donated over Le 50 Million in cash, 250 bags of cement and 70 bundles of zinc, among other things to victims of a fire incident at Tengbeh town, in Freetown.

Paramount Chief asked to pay Le100m in damages

Residents of Small Bo Chiefdom Kenema District have requested  the Paramount Chief of Langurama Chiefdom, Prince Pewa to pay a fine of Le100 million.

The Chiefdom Speaker, Mambu Moiwai said his people had demanded the said amount from Chief Pewa and his subject as damage for the "defaming" suffered by their Paramount Chief, Dhaffie Benya in the hands of Chief Pewa.

It followed the apparent admission of guilt by Chief Pewa that he lied at Chief Benya that he had plotted to kill him.
