At the age of 14, she recorded her first track titled "Played by you" in collaboration with DJ ShyShy. Soon after that, she went in for "Streets or me" in collaboration with Boaster and Watchkid Productions. She persisted and went on to record another track titled "All I really want" with DJ ShyShy Feat Kizzmex, Boss Lady. Being a grown-up girl now, Lady Zarah (ZAY) is an upcoming Singer/Song Writer, Artist, Model and Dancer from Sierra Leone. Born in London, United Kingdom, the 18-year old is one of the hottest R&B upcoming artistes in the Entertainment Industry. Her personal interests and slogan is “There may not be a ‘I’ in a team but there is a ‘me’ in awesome and my interest knows no one particular boundary. I am multi-talented and show all my talents in a refreshing and breath taking gesture”. Amongst most successful English-Based artistes that are traditionally born and raised in the United Kingdom, ZAY actually wants to make it big, break that barrier in the Entertainment Industry and deliver some fantastic results as she is currently among the new faces of upcoming Sierra Leone artistes that have earned a quick reputation and response with a different style and flair. The spirit of her music and message epitomizes the spirit and expressions of emotional consciousness and has kept her grounded, soulful and expressive in her vocals. In her track titled ‘I'll change for you’, she expresses a passionate message across to her fans about Love and her hit single ‘waiting for you’ which is to be released on November 2, 2012; she delivers a melodious voice with a distinctive twang that keeps one yearning for more, and offers no room for boredom. Singing has always been something she says she enjoys doing as everyone has a God given talent for which she believes singing is hers. As a young girl, she was introduced to different musical concerts and participated in numerous musical productions such as Tobias and the Angel (BBC1) and Punchkin Enchanta alongside her mum and many others. She also attended a dance school based in Herne Hill, South London which specialises in ballet, tap and contemporary dance and drama.
