The Sierra Leone Athletics Association SLAA are preparing for the Africa Youth Championship scheduled to take place in Ethiopia from the 3rd to 5th March 20114, according to the president of the association Abdul Karim Sesay.
Sesay told Politico that the SLAA are expecting ten Athletes to be part of the competition. He said because of the restrictions brought about by the Ebola outbreak, athletes have been training individually and they are doing well in their respective training sessions.
He said he expects the athletes to do their best for the country in Ethiopia, noting that they are at present reaching out to business houses looking for sponsorship for his athletes.
