Football can resume, says SLFA Number 2

The Sierra Leone Football Association has lifted its ban on all football activities in Sierra Leone as a result of the government's relaxation of Ebola restrictions throughout the country.

An SLFA Vice President of the SLFA Brima Mazola Kamara said "we will like to informed the public that the war against Ebola is not yet over...we must continue to adhere to the necessary precautionary measures in every football gathering."

Mazola said the SLFA is optimistic that its members will "use this opportunity to start the ball rolling for the development of football in this country." As about the start of the Premier league Mazola said that post Ebola football activities were in top gear and very shortly SLFA members would be informed about plans to re-start the respective local competitions nationwide.
