The man in charge of competitions at the Sierra Leone Football Association has disclosed that the second leg of Sierra Leone's Nation's Cup qualifier against the southern African kingdom of Swaziland will be played at the new Bo stadium.
Ibrahim Sesay said "that after watching all the facilities at the Stadium, which are up to standard the match between Leone Stars and Swaziland will be hosted here instead of the national stadium in Freetown which is usual venue".
Sesay described the move as "a big opportunity for the people in Bo Town to see the national team play their home match in the second city".
Sports Journalists who witnessed the U- 20 side's match against Ghana at the Stadium say they doubt that "the Bo Stadium will host the such a match for now because the present capacity is too small to accommodate the crowd that will turn out for the match.
They called for an expansion of the sitting facilities and for adequate security measures to be put in place to prevent a stampede.
