Danish - Fan Sierra Leone has donated Hummel-branded football materials to the Kroobay Community including 80 pairs of Hummel’s jerseys, 75 footballs, and 80 pairs of football boots.
According to the president of the organisation, Eric Rasmussen, the association will continue to support the Kroobay Community with whatever little they have, acknowledging that the community people are in control of the various clubs which includes both male and female categories respectively.
The Deputy Minister of Sport Ishmail AL- Sankoh Conteh thanked the Danish-Fan SL For their "active and cordial relationship with the Kroobay Community" and hoped that the relationship continues. He appealed to the people of Kroobay to utilize the football materials in a positive way.
A member of the community Osman Kamara said this was the second donation the Danish-Fan- Sierra Leone has made to the Community since it was formed in 2012. He said “we have set up different football clubs within the community and have also secured the services of a very good coach to train them".
