The Organising Committee of the African Cup of Nations has disqualified Equatorial Guinea from the playoffs of the Orange African Cup of nations in Morocco 2015.
This decision was reached recently following a protest by the Mauritania Football Federation arising from the first round play-off fixture of 17th May 2014 played in Nouakchott.
Equatorial Guinea won 3-1 on aggregate, however, their disqualification was announced by CAF for because the winners fielded an ineligible player Thierry Fidjeu Tazemeta.
