Grassroots coaching course ends

A five day training course for forty-four grassroots coaches from across the county has ended In Freetown.

SLFA president, Isha Johansen thanked the participant for taking part "in a wonderful course that will up- grade their skills to develop kids in the country" because, according to her, "these young kids are the future of Sierra Leone football". She also thanked FIFA for "helping to make this course a successful".

According to one of the beneficiaries, Daniel Conteh of FC Johansen, "the course have provided a platform to teach young kids from 8 to 9yrs how to become a better players and guide them on how not to be very competitive amongst themselves when they are playing football".

Ishmael Mammah coach of Malcolm Football Club said, "I was impressed with the local instructors because  they were very patient in helping us comprehend the various topics taught". He thanked the SLFA for the opportunity.
