The Salone FA Cup is set to start next month nationwide according to the Head of Media and Communications at the Sierra Leone Football Association, John Konteh.
Konteh said that the competition would commence on 9 February in the provincial town of Bo and would continue with other team in other provincial towns and ending in the Western Area.
According to the planned format the competition would start from teams in the division 2 categories playing any of the division one teams, including the premier league team in the town. The winners from any of the provincial towns would play winners from any given team. Such a format he said was a replica of the FA Cup in England.
