Sierra Leone recorded 0.15% increase in COVID-19 total cases in 5 days, from Monday (10:00 am) to Saturday (10:00 am).
In comparison, Sierra Leone’s percentage increase in total cases was lower compared to Benin (0.81%), Burkina Faso (0.33%), Cape Verde (6.03%), Ivory Coast (0.50%), Gambia (0.41%), Ghana (0.28%), Guinea (1.20%), Liberia (0.71%), Mali (1.03%), Niger (1.18%), Senegal (0.39%), Togo (0.74%), Mano River Union or MRU (0.70%), the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (0.65%), Africa (1.00%), Europe (1.27%), North America (0.85%), South America (2.48%), Asia (6.18%) and the world (2.65%). However, percentage increase in total cases in Guinea-Bissau (0.08%) and Nigeria (0.10%) was lower compared to Sierra Leone.
Asia (5.18%) recorded the highest percentage increase in total deaths compared to Benin (1.01%), Burkina Faso (3.18%), Cape Verde (3.59%), Ivory Coast (1.75%), Ghana (0.51%), Guinea (2.74%), Mali (1.64%), Niger (0.52%), Nigeria (0.10%), Senegal (0.45%), Togo (0.81%), MRU (1.51%), ECOWAS (0.72%), Africa (1.31%), Europe (1.33%), North America (0.72%), South America (2.87%) and the World (2.13%). Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia and Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total deaths over the period.
Moreover, Cape Verde (6.81%) recorded the highest percentage increase in total recoveries compared to Benin (0.95%), Burkina Faso (0.49%), Ivory Coast (0.46%), Gambia (2.36%),Ghana (0.26%), Guinea (1.88%), Guinea-Bissau (1.80%), Liberia (0.67%), Mali (2.34%), Niger (0.51%), Nigeria (0.06%), Senegal (0.32%), Togo (2.76%), MRU (0.84%), ECOWAS (0.77%), Africa (1.21%), Europe (2.05%), North America (1.95%), South America (2.85%), Asia (5.18%) and the World (3.30%). Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total recoveries.
