Real Mack FC will take on Ibrahim FC in the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) FA Cup grand finals at the national stadium today.
Both teams qualified to the round of 32 teams joining the likes Nottingham Forest, Dollarosa, B-Strikers, and others from the western region. Both teams eliminated sides that were tipped to reach the finals.
Real Mack scored ten goals in four matches conceding two goal while Ibrahim FC scored eight goals and conceded three from the same number of matches.
Victor Konneh, head coach of Real Mack said he was confident of victory having prepared his boys "mentally, physically and tactically to be crowned champions of the west". He said, "I want to win the trophy and make history for the club, the performance of my team in the FA cup has said it all. We will continue until we win the FA Cup".
Commenting about his opponents, he said Ibrahim FC have "very young players with lots of ambition and they are also a well-disciplined technical team". According to him, "I have a well balanced team than them that is the difference".
For his part, head coach of Ibrahim Sesay, boasted, "We have come on strong as a division two side we have succeeded in eliminating Manchester City and Belvic United, so we are very sure of doing the same to Real Mack"
Coach Sesay said "we have put everything in place to motivate the boys because winning the Western Area championship is our priority".
