The reigning champions of the Sierra Leone Volleyball Association (SLVA) championship 2013, Western Area say they are poised to retain the title in the forthcoming inter-regional volleyball competition which begins over the weekend in Koidu City.
One of the players for Western Area Patrick Lombie bluffed saying "’we have gone through a lot of training for this competitions and we have a steady mind to play and we are set for a good match".
"We are going to play away from home they will have the support and they will put up a very strong resistance as they will not want western area to defeat them taking into consideration the rivalry between us but we will do our best’’ said Zainab Kamara, a female player.
