Recently elected chairman of the Waterloo Football Association (WFA) Kebbie Sesay has said that his plans for the district will be implemented in the short term.
This he said amongst other things will include giving a facelift to the secretariat and bring in lot of developmental activities that will improve the state of football in the district.
He claimed his recent victory was as a result of his management output with the FC Kallon Jr team in Waterloo.
Chairman Sesay said that part of his plans will include creating an avenue for all clubs to raise revenue so that players will get their normal allowances at the end of the month.
The WFA secretariat he said will be open in order to create better club structure for all clubs in waterloo to meet football standards.
“With the good relationship I have established with the football stake holders my plans with will be executed very soon”, he said.
During the Ebola outbreak he said as a district they embarked on acquiring a land to build the secretariat which they had now secured and construction work would start shortly.
“Elections are over so we should all come together to work for the good of the association,” he said.
In the elections Councilor Mohamed Kargbo was defeated by Kebbie by 19 votes to 5 out of 24 delegates. The election was organized by the Western Rural District football Association and was observed by the Chairman, Secretary General and Public Relations Officer of the Western Area football Association, WAFA.
