Twenty-four communities are set to take part in the Soccer Promoters organization, annual inter community league starting on the 1st of June 2013.
Speaking to Politico Sports the chairman of Soccer Promoters, Harouna Newland disclosed that this year’s competition would be different as all modalities were already in place, and that the coveted prize was a BMW car worth Le 20 million, whilst the runner-up will take away a bicycle.
Newland said registration was ongoing but ‘’only community teams are allowed to register ... as we want to see total commitment by community people especially when it comes to critical issues during the course of the competition”.
The rules and regulations he said had been given to all teams that have completed their registration. He said any team that violated the laws would be thrown out of the competition.
