Davidson Nicol Hall were crowned champions at the Fourah Bay College (FBC) Inter Hall Sports Meet at the national stadium over the weekend.
They collected 431 points, followed by Solomon Caulker Hall with 317 and Bai Bureh Hall came third with 306 points.
The champions won most of the individual events.
In an interview, the best male athlete Abdul Rahman Tarawally said this was the third consecutive time Davison Nicol Hall was winning the championship trophy. He attributed that to his colleague athletes saying, “they have displayed very good skills during the entire meet, adding that as defending champions they felt honored to re-take the title.
Sports Promoter Fred Claye, who was the chief sponsor of the competition, said he felt gratified that the program ended successfully and promised that the relationship with the university will continue to grow. Claye donated Hummel track-suits to officials and students who took part in the competition.
