Testifying as second prosecution witness (PW2), police OSD Commander in Makeni, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Charles Ojah Korjia said that a matter of armed robbery was reported to him by a junior officer around 11:30 pm on the said date. He said he went to the alleged crime scene with a truck of officers where they saw a bank vehicle packed on the highway between Makeni and Kabala. “As all the doors were opened, we decided to search it. We saw blood stains, a knife and a tie on the floor”, ASP Korjia said.

He continued that he immediately made a phone call to the General Manager of the bank who reportedly said that he couldn’t make it to the alleged crime scene.
