The Bombali District Football Association (BDFA) Chairman and organizer of the Ernest Bai Koroma football tournament has told Politico that the 4th Edition will be unique. According to Brima Jalloh, the competition will cater for both male and female teams. He said, ‘’we want to give chance to our young players in the town to display their talent in this all important tournament’’ The competition will start on the 12 October 2013 at the Wusum field Makeni. "We are expecting a thrilling encounter as both groups are tough and mounting expectations will make the championship a success,”. The four selected female teams are Suba United, Rising Queens, Malimba Queens and Mamoud FC from Freetown. The male sides are Po-Military, Makeni City FC and Kolifa Stars, Area Best, Marampa Stars, Suba FC, Albaika and Annex FC. Wusum Stars are defending champions and the key sponsor is the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon. Chernor Bah. (C) Politico 10/10/13
