Sierra Leone's FA Cup winners Kamboi Eagles Football Club are preparing to take on their Algerian counterparts Amel-Saad Olympic Football Club in the preliminary stages of the CAF Cup tournament schedule for 14 and 15 February 2015.
The team's head coach Alhaji Foray aka (Abedi) said his players "are in high spirit to face their opponent taking into consideration the motivation provided by elders of Kenema who have done everything to see that the team participated in the competition and that momentum amongst the players is very encouraging."
The coach said "our aim is to eliminate them and precede to the next stage...we know the weaknesses of our opponents and we are going to capitalise on that and make the difference."
Public Relation Officer, Issmile Sesay said they have submitted a list of the member of their delegation to the Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA and that they have now raise over 50 million leones while still expecting assistance from business houses and individual throughout the country ahead of their departure on the 8th of February 2015.
