Mighty Black pool and Ibrahim FC are out of the FA Cup after they were beaten by Real Mack and Freetown City football Club in the second leg matches, respectively. Ibrahim FC lost 3-1 to go out 4-1 on aggregate, while Blackpool suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Freetown City Football Club 1-0 in the second leg after a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Head coach of Blackpool, Abu Sankoh was disappointed at the result and said they were unlucky in the entire match. ‘’We had chances to score but to no avail and Freetown City got their goal and that made the difference. We are out and they are in, football is all about scoring goals making use of your chances when they come your way’’ says Sankoh. He said they are concentrating on the premier league as they want to win it. Care- taker coach of City, Sheku kamara said their victory will bring self- belief into the team. Meanwhile Coach Ibrahim Sesay of Ibrahim FC bemoaned their loss to Real Mack noting they have lost three times in a row to their opponents but that with the experience gained in the tournament, next season will be different . Victor Konneh of Real Mack was delighted in reaching the round of 16 pointing out that it is more important for them now to prepare for up coming matches . He was brusque in reference to their opponents,‘’I have defeated Ibrahim FC three times in this competitions, little to say about them’’.
