Masoila Community sailed through to the final of the Closet Creation Inter community League, after they defeated Banda Community of Tintafor by 1-0 in the first semifinal at the fire force playing field Tintafor Lungi. A goal by Sulaiman Turay aka (Beckham) scored in the 87th minute separated. The head coach of Masoila Community John S Bangura expressed delight over the result saying that, “Banda Community were a hard nut to break as we wasted so many chances in the match, the goal came at the right time for me, because I did not want to go on penalties, penalties are unpredictable’’. He thanked his boys for their effort in reaching the finals unbeaten. Bangura said, “We are going to defend the title and set the record as the first community to win the first Closet Inter Community league in Lungi. On the side of Banda Community, Coach Alie Sankoh was disappointed, as according to him, "We were unlucky to score as we had better chances than Masoila’’. Sankoh said their aim was to reach the final but they were unfortunate. ‘’We are going to prepare ourselves for next season and return strong’’. Masoila Community will meet the winner between Rotifunk Community (1) Vs Rotifunk Community (2) in the second Semi-finals. (C) Politico 01/10/13
