Sierra Leone recorded 0.08% and 0.16% increase in COVID-19 total cases and total deaths respectively in 72 hours, from Saturday (10:00 am) to Tuesday (10:00 am).
In comparison, Sierra Leone’s increase in total cases was lower compared to Benin (1.21%), Burkina Faso (2.49%), Cape Verde (1.27%), Ivory Coast (0.47%), Gambia (0.29%), Ghana (0.86%), Guinea (0.61%), Guinea-Bissau (0.78%), Mali (3.13%), Niger (5.16%), Nigeria (0.50%), Senegal (0.68%), Togo (1.64%), Manor River Union or MRU (0.47%), the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (0.79%), Africa (1.74%), Europe (3.06%), North America (3.31%), South America (1.44%), Asia (2.25%) and World (2.57%). Liberia recorded zero increase in total cases.
Mali (4.70%) recorded the highest increase in total deaths compared to Ivory Coast (0.76%), Guinea-Bissau (2.33%), Niger (2.86%), Nigeria (0.17%), Senegal (0.30%), MRU (0.27%), ECOWAS (0.49%), Africa (1.42%), Europe (3.05%), North America (1.18%), South America (0.82%), Asia (1.74%) and the World (1.71%). Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Togo recorded zero increase in total deaths over the period.
Moreover, Sierra Leone’s increase in total recoveries was lower compared to Benin (10.08%), Burkina Faso (0.54%), Cape Verde (2.39%), Ivory Coast (0.44%), Gambia (0.31%), Ghana (0.84%), Guinea (0.53%), Guinea-Bissau (0.78%), Mali (3.72%), Niger (1.51%), Nigeria (0.95%), Senegal (0.24%), Togo (3.21%), MRU (0.44%), ECOWAS (1.02%), Africa (2.06%), Europe (6.05%), North America (3.33%), South America (1.30%), Asia (2.02%) and the World (2.80%). Liberia recorded zero increase in total recoveries.
