Sierra Leone recorded 0.08% and 0.33% increase in COVID-19 total cases and total deaths respectively in 72 hours, from Saturday (10:00 am) to Tuesday (10:00 am).
In comparison, Sierra Leone’s increase in total cases was lower compared to Benin (1.41%), Burkina Faso (1.65%), Cape Verde (1.02%), Ivory Coast (0.43%), Gambia (0.19%), Ghana (0.72%), Guinea (0.31%), Liberia (1.41%), Mali (3.73%), Niger (2.09%), Nigeria (0.65%), Senegal (0.14%), Togo (2.51%), Manor River Union or MRU (0.40%), the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (0.70%), Africa (1.88%), Europe (4.67%), North America (3.89%), South America (1.15%), Asia (1.55%) and World (2.84%). Guinea-Bissau recorded zero increase in total cases.
Europe (3.08%) recorded the highest increase in total deaths compared to Cape Verde (0.98%), Ivory Coast (0.79%), Ghana (0.94%), Guinea (1.35%), Mali (1.44%), Niger (1.45%), Senegal (0.61%), Togo (1.67%), MRU (0.56%), ECOWAS (0.43%), Africa (1.73%), North America (1.14%), South America (0.90%), Asia (1.44%) and the World (1.63%). Benin, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone recorded zero increase in total deaths over the period.
Moreover, Sierra Leone’s increase in total recoveries was lower compared to Benin (2.54%), Burkina Faso (1.70%), Cape Verde (3.42%), Gambia (0.45%), Ghana (0.93%), Guinea (2.07%), Mali (1.33%), Niger (0.44%), Nigeria (0.37%), Togo (5.17%), MRU (0.87%), ECOWAS (0.84%), Africa (1.82%), Europe (5.34%), North America (3.15%), South America (1.38%), Asia (1.70%) and the World (2.44%). Increase in total recoveries in Ivory Coast (0.31%), Liberia (0.30%) and Senegal (0.09%) was lower compared to Sierra Leone. Guinea-Bissau recorded zero increase in total recoveries.
