The female national football team, Sierra Queens were held to goal- less draw over the weekend in Makeni in a friendly match against Liberia’s Lone star to celebrate the international women’s day. Head coach of Sierra Queens ,Abdulai Bah said he was was impressed with the girls performance and that they have improved in so many ares. He was full of praise for the Liberia’s team for what he described as a good display. Most of them are young players that form the bulk of the national female team of Liberia.. Meanwhile coach Bah has called on the Football Association here to start the female league so that the girls will have the chance to play regularly and hence prepare them for international competitions.
