ROMEO MUSA TOMBO ON SUICIDE MISSION AS TIK TOK POSES WITH ANOTHER GUY
We don’t quite know if Romeo Musa Tombo’s injury is life-threatening but the fact that he injured himself to the extent of him being hurriedly dragged to hospital by volunteers makes it clear to us that we are likely to wake up one morning and be told the worst about our modern day Romeo. On Thursday morning we saw him on social media urging Sierra Leoneans to help him beg his wife, Madam Tik Tok to take him back. Their marriage was badly strained over his messy bid to join a Libyan football club some months ago. The deal appears to have fallen through and Romeo Musa Tombo has also been thrown out of the local side, Bo Rangers. His contract was terminated because of his “WHACKY” behavior.
Since Romeo returned home he was slapped with an SLFA ban from all football including his favorite Freetown mini-leagues. So clearly, this notoriously unstable guy has been going through a lot recently. While all this was happening, Madam Tik Tok was busy posing with another guy. We cannot tell whether they are in a relationship but that’s what people are suggesting on social media.
We have now opened another chapter in the unending drama of the life of Romeo Musa Tombo. As always we have the following points to make:
1. When Romeo Musa Tombo brandished a bread knife in Libya, threatening to kill himself if he wasn’t immediately brought back to Freetown, he wasn’t bluffing. We were informed about backroom actions involving the government that opened the way for his return. Next time we see him with a machete or an AK 47, we should not attempt to call this bluff.
2. Part of his treatment in that hospital should include Madam Tik Tok in the bed next to the nation’s highest goal scorer. She will deal with the emotional side of things. Please no intimacy in the hospital.
3. The possibility of a triumphant return to Bo Rangers should be constantly dangled before him. He should also be told that no offers will be considered from any other club, especially those outside our borders.
4. Let’s remember that should Madam Tik Tok refuse to help rehabilitate the goal king we should keep the man on TWENTY FOUR HOUR suicide watch.
5. For the records let’s invite the police to interview this man and review the evidence to decide whether to charge him with attempted suicide. We love Romeo Musa Tombo but THE LAW IS THE LAW.
TAXI THIEVES INTENSIFY CRIMINALITY IN FREETOWN
Next time you board a taxi in Freetown, keep an eye on your fellow passengers. In fact, take a close look at the people you see in the taxi or people the driver picks up along the road. Your fellow passengers may well be hardcore criminals working hand in gloves with your taxi driver. Police stations in the capital are busy recording cases and people are suffering.
Our information is that this happens mostly in the mid-afternoons when some of the streets are somehow clear and at night. We have recently spoken to several people who have fallen victims of this criminality.
We want to warn our readers not to imagine for one moment that those involved in this are the normal shabby-looking street boys, the criminals are good-looking young people, powerfully built guys with weapons hidden in parts of their clothing.
People need taxis and other means of transport to move around so all we can say is that some of those taxis are used for criminal activities and we should avoid them or help the police take their riders off the road.
1. Maybe we totally avoid taxis in Freetown. In fact they are generally hot, smelly and bed bug infested. With criminals now using them to attack us, why continue with taxis when kekes can serve really well.
2. Before you board a taxi next time let the driver know you have taken down the number on his license plate. You can pretend to be talking to somebody indicating the number of the vehicle taking you to your next destination. That may help. Don’t get into a taxi and start talking big about the millions and millions of Leones in your bank account
3. The police have to really do their job to make Freetown safe. When mobile phones are recovered from these criminals, they offer a big opportunity to expose their networks. The tragedy is our police sometimes operate on the surface and drop the chance of breaking criminal gangs.
FAKE DRUGS KILLING OUR CHILDREN SLOWLY
WHO has just blown the cover of an Indian Pharmaceutical company that is suspected of having killed more than SIXTY CHILDREN in The Gambia with different brands of cough syrup that they produce. All we can say while that investigation is on-going is that we believe our people in the country should look beyond those SIXTY SIX cases. It’s possible that hundreds have been killed or maimed.
In this Land that we Love, our authorities are telling us all is well because those products have not entered our market. We hope so. The point is they may well have entered through unofficial channels.
On the streets of Freetown today all sorts of insecticides are being sold and many are using them in their homes. We have reason to believe that the Pharmacy Board DID NOT APPROVE all of them.
We have seen the trouble in The Gambia. Are we safe here?
SANITATION WAHALA IN FREETOWN: HAS MAYOR GIVEN UP?
She is always smiling broadly on social media with cute photographs of the new FCC building in the background while telling the world that our city is now TRANSFORMED to God knows what. She takes the message around the world on her many trips abroad and she has loyal followers in Freetown who despite having to live with the brutal realities in Freetown pretend this is a TRANSFORMED city.
As for those Sierra Leoneans abroad, it’s up to them to believe what they want to believe because even when we publish pictures of what Freetown looks like under this Mayor they turn a blind eye. They live in the UK, USA and Australia, paying their taxes REGULARLY and getting good value for it. We live in this filthy city but also pay our taxes. They want to tell us what we live with daily because of the pictures FCC uploads daily. Sorry guys, we know what’s going on.
FCC appears to have lost control of sanitation and mounds of rubbish are piling up in different street corners. In fact in some places, the rubbish is deposited in the middle of major arterial roads like the Hillside bypass road in broad daylight. These are things we want those who say we are being unfair to Mayor Kemokai to check out with their own eyes. We see the bags of rubbish daily on our way to and from work.
The whole sanitation effort went out of hand after cleaners went on strike for pay and improved conditions years ago. It’s almost as if the Mayor decided from that point on to sack all the cleaners after paying their backlogs. She can shout TRANSFORM all day long but the only people who will get that message are her slavishly loyal so-called delivery unit and her few friends abroad. The people of Freetown will reward her next year.
