The incumbent APC government has been all along priding itself as a grassroots one in contrast to the rival, SLPP, which the APC tags as elitist. One would have expected that if that assertion by the APC was not merely lip service, they would have been seen to care for their downtrodden and scum-of-the-earth compatriots. In practice, the APC is anything but grassroots. They are in fact displaying all the antics and gimmicks of aristocracy far from the madding crowd’s ignoble strife.

JUSTICE DELAYED - ALMOST DENIED - AT LAW SCHOOL

Look what we have here. The Sierra Leone Law School is in a mess of its own making. We are scratching our heads thinking just how this once enviable school will redeem itself from the awkward position it's in at the moment.

I hope you wouldn’t mind some sermonizing consonant with my last and foremost profession namely the ecclesiastical ministry. In this exercise of tribute paying we are trumpeting the good that is not interred in the bones of the late President Kabba. “Life is a little gleam of time between two eternities; no second chance to us forever more!” wrote Thomas Carlyle. Such is life. There can be a higher standard of living but there can be no higher death. All of us are physically equal at death in terms of deterioration, dust and ashes.
