Pujehun bike riders get 10 bikes

The southern regional executive of the Bike Riders’ Union (BRU) has given on loan ten Victor motorbikes to the executive of BRU in Pujehun district. The regional chairman, Femi Rashid told Politico that this was as a result of the district union’s contribution to the regional body.

The Anti-Corruption Commission has nabbed three education officials in Kono district following an investigative story published by Politico a few weeks ago. The three are Sahr Patrick Fillie (supervisor of schools), Sorie Nfatorma Brima (a former principal of the Experimental Secondary school and the head teacher of Experimental Primary school, Sahr Eric Jabba.

Mercury boosts library studies

The Chief Executive Officer of the sport-betting company, Mercury International says his company will spend more than Le 4 Billion on education and other charitable ventures this year.

Samir Hasanyeh described education as “a priority” to his organisation and announced that many deserving students at all levels of education would receive scholarships from Mercury International this year in keeping with their traditional activities.
