Njala students cry for toilet

Students of Njala University, Bo campus, have expressed disgust and dismay over the “appallingly poor” toilet facility on their campus which they say has forced them to resort to unconventional methods of attending to the call of nature.

Sierra Leone police officer remanded for “child trafficking”

An officer attached to the Special Branch of the Kenema Police Station has been remanded at the Kenema state prison by Magistrate Momoh Jah Steven. Constable Desmond Lewis, who is the first accused, was arraigned alongside a nurse, Christiana Alpha for the alleged trafficking of a 7-day old boy.
