PMDC dismisses court ruling

People's Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) has dismissed a recent ruling against the party by the Appeals Court in Freetown, overturning a decision it earlier upheld to withdraw an injunction preventing the party from holding its convention.

"6-3-4-4 is cosmetic" – Bobson Sesay

The architect of Sierra Leone's 6-3-3-4 educational system, Alfred Bobson Sesay has described the modified 6-3-4-4 system as “cosmetic”.

The new system, which started this week, adds an extra year to senior secondary education.

WASSCE results out Friday

Chief Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, Mohamed Kamara says the long awaited results of the school-leaving WASSCE exams will be out tomorrow, Friday 21 September. He said government had already paid the Le 2 billion it owed the West Africa Examinations Council.

NDA founder endorses Musidal
