Sierra Leone trains 50 Physical Education teachers

Ahead of Launching the FIFA Football for Schools (F4S) Programme, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has commenced a 3-day training workshop for over 50 Physical Education (P.E) Teachers.

The training which was conducted by SLFA in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) started at the Wusum Hotel in Makeni on the 5th February, 2024.

Big hotels in Makeni in electricity scam

In ongoing nationwide raids on customers of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA), MJ Motel and Sahara Hotel in the Nothern Capital Makeni have been invited by the authority over alleged illegal activities in relation to the usage of electricity.

The nationwide on –the- spot check by the authority started on Saturday 26th January this year in the South and Eastern regional Capitals of Bo and Kenema respectively where illegal activities were reportedly discovered.
