Assessing President Julius Maada Bio’s administration over the past six years with regards to democracy, human rights and justice, the Minority Leader in Parliament, Abdul Kargbo has said all is not right, saying where “there is peace there is no need to talk about tripartite, dialogue” among others.

Bio says a new bill will be tabled to deal with plastic waste

A new National Plastic and Plastic Waste Management Bill will soon be introduced in Parliament, according to President Julius Maada Bio.

He made this revelation at the State Opening of the second session of the sixth parliament on the 6th August 2024. Bio said the bill will be developed to address the pressing issue of plastic waste in the country.
