A Dutch medical doctor who contracted Lassa Fever at the Masanga Hospital in Tonkolili District has died after he was repatriated.
Dr Noulet Woucher was one of ten European doctors – seven Dutch and three British – who were evacuated last week but died over the weekend.

The father of an alleged murder victim and the father of a two-year-old toddler who was assaulted have complained about the delay in prosecuting their cases on behalf of their children.
Police started processing documents for both cases since the first and second weeks of October, but delays between the Police and the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) meant that both matters have taken too long to be charged to court.

The businesses visited are all packaged water producing companies - Bokum, Family and So Pure Water, operating in Freetown.

Children from across the country on Tuesday exhibited paintings at the Cotton Tree, as part of commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
The drawings depicted the daily issues children face in the country.
The CRC is an international treaty which was signed on 20th November 1989. It was adopted by the United Nations to institute global standards to ensure the protection, survival and development of all children in the world without discrimination.
