Court Martial: Captain Senesie led strange people to armoury - Witness

Seventh Prosecution Witness, Corporal Alfred ‘Methodist’ Kargbo, in an ongoing Court Martial set up to try 27 military personnel in connection to the November 26th attempted failed coup, has stated the one Captain Senesesie led in strange people towards the armoury.

The witness said he was on duty on the night of the incident, guarding the main gate leading to the Wilberforce barracks and the armoury.

University Court overturns VC appointment

The Court of the University of Sierra Leone (USL), the highest decision-making body in the institution has approved and ratified the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS), Professor Mohamed Samai, as Pro-Vice-Chancellor, putting him a position to run the University until a new Vice Chancellor is appointed.

This action overturns the earlier decision by the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education to appoint Prof. Lawrence Kamara as Vice Chancellor.

Gov’t owes EDSA over NLe450 million

The government, through its Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) owes the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) over four hundred and fifty million Leones New Leones, according to the Chief Finance Officer of EDSA, Mustapha Sannoh.
