The lead defence lawyer at the on-going Court Martial has urged Judge Advocate Otto During to deliver judgment before the end of the year after the prosecution asked for more time again to reply to a no-case submission by the defence two months ago.
Lawyer Julius Cuffie urged the court to withdraw the prosecution’s file and deliver judgment on the matter because the prosecutor had been afforded reasonable time to make his submission but had not done so.
Deputy Vice Chancellor Fourah Bay College, FBC, Wednesday received the keys to a 24-seater Toyota bus donated to his institution by the National Revenue Authority to help convey students to and from classes.
Professor Sahr Gbamanja said with FBC having acquired two similar buses, the new one would be a most welcomed addition to the fleet. He said most of the commercial vehicles plying the Model - FBC route were “not roadworthy and with five buses, we can get them off the road.”
