Parade complete double comeback

What a week for Central Parade, they came from two goals down to equalize against East End Tigers. They also came from a goal down to level with Old Edwardians.

This latest surge in form has seen them get back their spot. Central Parade are back in third place, even though Kamboi Eagles have two games in hand over them.

Old Edwardians continue to impress, but this doesn’t change anything. They are almost back where they started. They find themselves in the relegation zone with Anti- Drugs and RSLAF.

Kallon fight to keep up

After two wretched performances, this was the game FC Kallon knew they had to win. And they won it. FC Kallon played with some conviction. Fresh from that heartbreaking draw against Lions, Ports couldn’t have wished for anything more difficult than facing FC Kallon.

Five more games to go, this is the home stretch now. If FC Kallon are going to win this league they must brace up. Among those five games, they have Blackpool, Kamboi Eagles and East End Lions all lined up.

There is no margin for error now.

Bo Rangers win three in a row

Two in a row is a probably a stroke of luck, but three is a plan. Bo Rangeres defeated East End Tigers to win for the third consecutive games. This takes their total win to 4.

The team is currently under a career taker coach, if Konneh has a license A, it will be foolish not to appoint him permanently next season. The team has shown much improvement under him. None of the other two coaches that Rangers have employed before this man, have had a clear cut game plan.

Second Leg-Week five of Sierra Leone Premier League

Review

Parade woes continue

Central Parade on Sunday lost their third game in five matches, after a 2-0 encounter with FC Kallon. To make matters worse, their coach was also sent to the stands.

Last week’s win against FCFC was sign that perhaps Parade were back, but not quite. However, they should take a huge comfort in their performance against FC Kallon. On a whole they deserved something from the game.

Parade are still 3rd with 25 points.

The Review

Kallon miss chance to go top

Just as most people feared, FC Kallon missed the chance over the weekend to go top of the league. They drew blanks with Old Edwardians in what was a thrilling encounter right to the end.
