The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has set aside Friday 26April as deadline for all clubs to register for the start of the Sierra Leone Premier League (SPL).
According to the Public Relations Officer of the SLFA Sorie Ibrahim Sesay, “this delay in registration is one of the unforeseen circumstances we have been referring to, which has resulted in the postponement of the premier league on several times”.
Asked if letters of notification are normally sent to the clubs, he replied that they inform them by calling their Secretaries and Team Managers.
Sesay called on all premier league clubs to complete their registration and other formalities before the deadline date after which a date will be announced for the start of the league.
