A financial service entity named A Call To Business (ACTB) is rewarding its clients with Easter/Ramadan promotions so they realize that they are the reason for the growth of the institution.
Some of the items listed in the promotion are; pens, oil, prayer mats, and key holders, among others.
In launching the promotion at the institution’s Brookfields office on the 11th of March 2024, ACTB Marketing Manager, Rocklyn Alwyn Findlay noted that as Christians are currently observing the Lent period and Muslims have started the Holy month of Ramadan, it was befitting to have a promotion for the two religious groups in the country.
He stated that the Easter/Ramadan promotion is a way to give back to their “loyal and committed customers” who have been with them over the past 15 years and the reason for the institution’s existence. He recalled that the institution started as a credit-only microfinance in 2008 before transforming into a deposit-taking institution in early 2017-2018.
“So if the institution has come that far, it will be befitting to have an occasion that rewards customers,” he said.
He emphasized that there is no grand prize for the promotion, but said someone who is withdrawing Le 25, 000 (twenty-five thousand New Leones) will have the bumper price. He said that everyone from the public will be eligible to be part of the promotion and assured that it will be free from scammers as they have codes to identify clients’ transactions.
In his brief statement during the launching, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ACTB, David Kamara said that this will be the very first promotion launched by the institution since they started operations 15 years ago. He affirmed that for them to have survived turbulences like the Ebola pandemic, COVID-19, and the Forex challenges in the country meant a lot as a financial institution and that they have been able to come out stronger.
He stated that since they have about 30, 000 (thirty thousand) clients across the country, they want to be identified with them, hence the need for the promotion. He said they have put out sets of items at their branches across the country for their clients to have something that will serve as remarkable souvenirs.
Kamara pointed out that even though they have a series of promotions lined up, this one will be the first in the marathon of promotions that they have. He ended up thanking and at the same time wishing their clients a happy Easter in advance and a Holy month of Ramadan.
A Call To Business institution aims to deliver the best-in-class financial services for the benefit of all Sierra Leoneans.
