President Ernest Bai Koroma has signed a US$ 1.6 million contract with the People's Republic of China for the improvement of free health care and rice production in Sierra Leone.
At a post-ceremony press conference at the Chinese Embassy in Freetown, Ambassador Kuang Weilin said the bilateral relationship between the two countries was so strong that President Koroma had been invited to deliver the keynote address layer this week at a state function in China.
The ongoing road construction from Regent to Jui would be completed in April next year, assured Ambassador Weilin, adding that there were fifty-three Chinese industries in Sierra Leone employing over three thousand youth.
