Camp Canada Athletics Club will organise the 2nd edition of their Inter-clubs’ athletics competition in the second week of November at the Trade Centre ground, Ferry Junction.
The event will bring together Athletics clubs in the country, both in the Western area and other parts of the country.
The captain of Camp Canada, Alim Sesay said the idea behind this initiative is to bring athletes together and to keep them fit for international Competitions.
Sesay said “we are expecting the best across the country, I mean the most talented youngsters”. He said the "sensational record holder in 110 & 400 meter hurdles, Amara Taylor Kamara will be making his return ahead of the traditional Boxing Day Sports in December this year..."
An athlete, Abdul Rahman Tarawallie expressed hope of retaining his 100 meters title while his rival, Ibrahim Turay aka “Tall Man” who grabbed the 200m last year is also very positive about becoming the country's fastest man.
