Pupils of St. Joseph’s Secondary School at Brookfields in Freetown have praised the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA, Isha Johansen for making a cash donation of 4.5 millions Leones and one hundred bags of cement to the school and also for offering Scholarships to the best Athlete, Naomi Kebbie of SSS 2 Science and Donicia Cummings John of JSS 1 who gained admission into the school with the best result in the National Primary School Exams,NPSE . Mrs. Johansen who was given a warm reception by the school authorties and students urged the girls to be ambitious pointing out that the integrity and values of a woman depend on you’re their upbringing and what they learn at school. She warned the girls of the challenges they will have to face once out of school but that with self- belief and courage they will overcome. ‘’This is my own little way to help develop the school and I will continue to do more for the school as this is the only school I attended and I have to be proud of it’’ the FA boss asserts. Senior Secondary School Principal, Christiana A. Leigh was grateful to Mrs. Johansen for her generosity with particular reference to the cement as the school is erecting a building .She said construction work was very slow due to lack of materials.
