The Vice President (One) of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Brima Mazola Kamara has told a peace meeting organized by the Nationwide Supporters Group of Sierra Leone that their executive "needs" the Acting SLFA General Secretary Abdul Rahman Swarray in the secretariat. Speaking on Tuesday 24TH September 2013 at the Atlantic Hall of the national stadium, Kamara said as a new executive, that they need the Acting General Secretary amongst other persons who have the vast knowledge in the game to assist them in promoting the game, ‘’ our decision has not changed and we will not lay off any one, if these people love the game let them come and play football’’ He said. In his statement, Sirajin Rolling-Kamara, the spokesman for a group of clubs who say the last SLFA elections that brought Isha Johansen to power was rigged, stressed that they will continue to demand the sacking of Swarray as a pre-requisite to the restoration of peace in the SLFA. He said, “We are not happy with the current trend of football in the country and Swarray must stay away for peace to prevail in the game, if not we will continue to boycott the Premier League until our demand is considered”. © Politico 26/09/13
