Four staff of the Political Parties’ registration Commission have been arrested by the Anti Corruption Commission on allegations of misappropriation of public funds and other related corruption offences. According to a press release issued yesterday, the commission’s registrar Abraham John, finance manager Moses Senesie, head of mediation and programme department Robert Paine and his officers in charge of the east Victor Hugo Kamara were arrested “following a report from the Political Parties’ Registration Commission (PPRC)”. They have been released on bail pending further investigations, the release says. It is not immediately clear what the specifics of the charges against them are or whe they will be indicted. © Politico 27/08/13
